MWA's Janice Tufte: Seattle, WA's Unsung Muslimah Hero




ABOUT MWA MEMBER JANICE TUFTE
Janice Tufte lives in Seattle, Washington and has previously been published in Our Rising Sun and other resources in addition to being quoted in numerous publications. She has published Emergency Muslim Resource Guides for three Washington State counties in addition to providing publications for WarmforWinter and The Islamic Civic Engagement Project, both centered in the Puget Sound area. Ms. Tufte is currently working with HASSANAH Consulting in development of strategies to successfully ease barriers of persons living in poverty, both with the Seattle University School of Theology Faith and Family Homelessness Project and the Group Health Cooperative Medical Home Consumer Empowerment three year project.
