MWA's Eman Shurbaji interviews for Illume Magazine

Eman Shurbaji studied journalism at California State University, Bakersfield. She is a journalist and writer/editor. Ms. Shurbaji is passionate about her work as there are always stories to be told, and information to be dissipated. She was an intern/trainee at Aljazeera English in Doha, Qatar, further fueling her desire to speak to the masses.

Shurbaji feels as though she a citizen of the world, having traveled extensively. In addition to writing, editing websites/materials, she writes for several nonprofits. She has been a member of Muslimah Writers Alliance since July 2012.
